Tami was known for her quick wit and humor, as seen through her Facebook posts. Tami had a deep understanding of people and showed her love through unique gifts and surprises.

Tami retired from CMR Railroad after 13 years of dedicated service, but her most valuable and rewarding work was the past several years as the 24/7 caregiver to her mother, Linda, and her cousin, Michael Joe Fields, whom she loved like a son.

Tami was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Oma Lee Carlton and Oscar Thackerson; her paternal grandparents: Aris and Goldie Taylor and aunt: Barbara Fields.

Tami is survived by her soulmate and loving husband: Rudy Pack; her son: Christopher Pack and wife Christy of Quitman, Texas; their children: Timothy West Pack, Bithiyah Jade Pack and Josiyah Franklin Pack (just born December 1, 2023); her daughter: Tara Pack and Robert Brassfield of Cisco, Texas (with Tami’s fourth grandchild expected with great excitement December 24, 2023); her sister and best friend: Teresa and husband William Johnson of Cayuga, Texas; her mother: Linda Taylor of Eastland, Texas and her father: Joe Roy Taylor and wife Evelyn of Cayuga, Texas.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her and she will be profoundly missed.
