Ruby Leona Rasberry Hull, 78 of Kempner, TX passed away from this life on Monday, August 21, 2023. Ruby was born on October 20, 1944, to Clem Clark Rasberry and Lonnie “Thelma” Maynard-Rich-Rasberry in Gorman, TX. She passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Ruby is survived by two daughters, Lonnie Hull Doyle and Becky Hull Battreal, her husband Ralph Battreal; grandchildren, Matthiew Doyle and wife Christina, Daniel Doyle, Chad Battreal and wife Mary, Tara Wheeler and husband Steve. Great grandchildren Ruby and Aiden Doyle and Finley and Max Wheeler. Two sisters Ruth Underwood and Jo Hogan as well as several nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Don Hull and youngest daughter, Brenda Hull.
Ruby loved arts and crafts and cooking. She worked as a hairdresser and a florist before retiring. She enjoyed participating, and was very adept in several crafts including sewing, painting, crocheting, quilting and many others. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and even winemaking during her lifetime.
Ruby was very loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Monday, August, 28, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland, TX. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2023 at Flatwood Cemetery in Eastland County with Pastor Dwaine Clower officiating.
