RANGER – Ronny Dean Gilbert, age 50 of Ranger, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022. A visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday, December 29th at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 30th at Merriman Cemetery in Ranger. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Ranger.
He was born November 16, 1972 in Ranger to Jimmie Williams and Ronald Gilbert. Ronny married Nicki Beggs May 26, 2005 in Ranger. He loved outdoors, camping, water sports, motorcycles, football, cornhole, horseshoes, loved all 14 grandkids, all 13 cats, and river trips with JD.
He is survived by wife, Nicki Gilbert; children, Michael Gilbert (Skye), Jason Hooper (Ashley), Dom Taylor (Chelsea), Nick Gilbert, Cali Slaughter (Nathan), Jasmyn Donias (Nicholas), Cheyanne Gilbert (Kody); parents, Carrol and Sue Braddock; sister, Rhonda Watson (Alton); brothers, Jason Moore, Donald Gilbert, and David Gilbert; and 14 grandchildren. Ronny is proceeded in death by his father, Ronald Gilbert; father-in-law, Melvin Beggs; and nephew, Joshua Wells.
The family would like to recognize special friends, Bill Riehle, Jr. Vasquez, Brandon (Mo) Monroe, George Leal, J.D. Wells, J.W. Stewart, Alan, Mark Sr. and Mark Jr. Lucky.
