Roaring Ranger Days Parade was held on Saturday September 17th. Bro. Gerald Gunstanson, pastor at Ranger First UPC, was this year’s Grand Marshal. The parade is hosted each year by the Ranger Historical Preservation Society. Jeane Pruett was the force behind organizing the RHPS along with organizing the Roaring Ranger Days Parade, the annual lighted Christmas parade among other event parades for Ranger. Jeane passed away in February of this year and this was the first parade held after her passing. Members of the Ranger Historical Preservation Society showed that the organization along with the parade will continue to flourish in Ranger, Texas. A memorial float for Jeane was part of the parade.
