Representative David Spiller Named Vice Chair of the Texas Water Caucus

Rep. David Spiller

AUSTIN — The Texas Water Foundation (TWF) has announced the establishment of the Texas House Water Caucus, a new, bi-partisan collaborative focused on water issues with a starting roster of thirty-eight legislators, including Representative David Spiller, who has been named as the Vice Chair.

As one of the fastest-growing states in the nation and one of the strongest economies in the world, Texas’ increasing population growth brings more demand for water and a need for reliable and secure supplies.

“Water security is vital to Texas and our entire economy. As your State Representative, I am committed to ensuring rural Texas has a seat at the table for all important water planning discussions. We must continue to innovate, strategize, and invest in the future of Texas water,” said Representative Spiller.

David Spiller is the State Representative for House District 68, which includes 12 rural counties: Brown, Comanche, Cooke, Eastland, Jack, Lampasas, Mills, Montague, San Saba, Shackelford, Throckmorton, and Young.
