Beginning this weekend, June 11th and 12th from 10:00 a.m. to dusk, RHPS announces we will continue the BOOMTOWN MARKET located at 1507 West Loop 2546 in Ranger. We will be offering open-air booth spaces inside our spacious building for local and area artists, designers, handcrafted, and other vendors to display their talents and wares, seasonal produce and plants, paintings, jewelry, beauty products, leather items, baked goods, authentic food, and other unique items. We offer a large outside grassy area for vendors to sell from their tents, pickup beds, and trailers – a great area to have a garage sale. Turn your unused items into cash. Remember, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
Our plans are to continue the BOOMTOWN MARKET through the summer, into fall, and the Christmas season. Handcrafted one-of-a-kind items make great Christmas gifts for those special people on your list.
We have not set a price on vendor spaces (some include electricity) only a suggested donation to our organization. RHPS is a 501(c) 3, non-profit, tax-exempt organization and chartered under the name of Central Texas Historical & Genealogical Preservation, Inc. We offer the Ruth Terry Denny Library Research Center for anyone researching family history or other points of interest, especially in Eastland and the surrounding counties.
RHPS sponsors 2 parades a year, the Roaring Ranger Day Parade on the 3rd weekend in September and the annual Night-Time Lighted Christmas Parade the first Friday in December. This year will be the 28th year for this event.
For those who have trouble finding enough venues, we have the solution. Enjoy a day of fun, tasty food, and fellowship this weekend.
