EASTLAND – Nelda Mae Arnold, 91 of Eastland, passed away Monday January 15, 2024 in Eastland. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19th at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Murray Cemetery in Carbon.
Nelda was born November 5, 1932 in Eastland County to Augustus B. Byrd and Myrtle M. Enser Byrd. She was married to Bearl Arnold. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of the Leon River Cowboy Church.
She was also preceded by her sons, Danny Lee Hicks on July 7, 2023, and Jerry Dean Arnold on March 28, 2022.
Survivors include a son, Tony Arnold and wife Sara Arnold; and 4 grandchildren, Devin Arnold, Caroline Arnold Alexander, Avery Arnold, and JD Arnold
