The Eastland High School board of trustees met in a called meeting Sunday evening, March 27th with one item on the agenda…to consider naming Lone Finalist for Superintendent.
The board went into executive session for about 20 minutes and came out with the unanimous decision to appoint current assistant superintendent, Jeremy Williams as Lone Finalist for superintendent.
Texas state law requires a 21-day waiting period after a school board names a superintendent “Lone Finalist” before the future school superintendent can sign a contract.
