Janet Leigh Escue Messenger Eaton, age 74, went to be with her Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 surrounded by her family at her home in Eastland, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1949 in Clifton, Texas to Charles Warren Escue and Carol Jewel Massey Escue.
Janet was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was married to Clinton for 27 years.
She was reunited with father Charles Warren Escue, mother Carol Jewel Massey Escue, and step-daughter Kelly Power.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clinton Eaton, sons’, Nick Charles Messenger and wife, Melanie Messenger, son, Duston Glen Messenger and wife, Shone Messenger; stepson, Christopher Ray Eaton and wife, Karen Eaton; grandchildren, Michelle Davis, Heather Cox, Lorna Copeland, Haleigh Messenger, Bryce Messenger, Daylon Ochoa, Harlee Messenger, Scarlet Messenger, Hunter Eaton and Blake Power; great nephew, Brandon Hogan and many great-grandchildren.
