Jim Bob was born on his dad’s birthday, December 6, 1986. A happy, blonde-haired, blue-eyed baby grew and became obsessed with two things, firemen and football. He loved the fire department in both Dublin and Stephenville. This love affair led him to be deployed with the Stephenville Volunteer Fire Department to Bastrop to fight the Bastrop Wildfires in 2011.
When he moved from Dublin to Stephenville in grade school, he discovered his dad’s love of football. Not typical football, but Stephenville Yellowjacket football. He lived and breathed it. In Junior high his family lived near the practice field and he was so eager to play he would beat the coaches to the field house every morning. Jim Bob worked hard and became a Yellow Jacket.
As an adult, James worked hard as he did at everything else, he became a father. He excelled at being a father to Shiloh. She was his heart, his pride and his joy. He loved being her dad. He loved his Shiloh Grace.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him but especially his family. He is survived by his daughter Shiloh Grace Ramsay of Stephenville, Texas. His father, Andrew Ramsay of Stephenville, Texas. His mother and step father Carla and E.T. Bradley of Eastland, Texas. Also, his beloved siblings, Thomas Ramsay (Ashley) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Keegan Ramsay of Eastland, Texas and Kylee Ramsay of Stephenville, Texas. Uncle Bobby as he was affectionately known as and was adored by his nieces, Drew Ramsay, Emma Ramsay, and his nephew, Barrett Ramsay. He will be missed by a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his grandmother Jean Ramsay of Cisco, Texas. He was greeted in heaven by his paternal grandparents, James Ramsay and Madge Ramsay and his Maternal grandparents, Carl and Aline Mitchell.
