Estillee Jones-Espinoza, 79, of Carbon, TX, went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2024 after a lengthy illness. She was born in McCrory, AR on December 12, 1944 to Nora Genevieve Jones and James Estil Jones.

Estillee attended schools in McCrory, AR, where she met her lifelong friends, Becky Kyle and Donnie Smith Sisney. She later moved to Midland, TX where she met and married the love of her life, Esau P Espinoza on January 24, 1989. They lived in Midland, TX for thirteen years and then moved to their ranch in Carbon, TX where they have spent the last twenty-two years.

Estillee loved living on the ranch and she loved working alongside Esau, including cutting and baling hay, feeding the animals, such as, putting out hay for the cattle and goats. She enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables. Placing the hummingbird feeders out for the season was important, so that she could sit out on the porch and watch the hummingbird’s feed. Estillee enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially during the holidays, she also enjoyed antiquing.

Estillee was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Genevieve Jones, her father, James Estil Jones, one brother, James Estil “Sonny” Jones and two sisters, Barbara McBroome and Kathryn Lucille Taylor. 

She is survived by her husband, Esau P. Espinoza, three daughters, Barbra K. Rutledge (Mark), Michelle Levens (Tracy) and Sheree Levens; one son, Britton Michael Espinoza,
granddaughter, Kamee Danielle Henson, and one great-grandson, Evan Wade Horn.

No services are planned. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to The American Cancer Society in Estillee Jones-Espinoza’s name.
