Due to a lack of rain, and an abundance of wind, heat, and wildfire fuel, the Eastland County Commissioner’s Court, extended the burn ban just before the last order expired. Eastland County has often had red flag warning days recently so it is important to be extra cautious when doing anything outside that could cause a spark.
The current order restricting outdoor burning is in effect immediately and will run for 90 days unless the restrictions are terminated earlier based on a determination made by the Texas Forest Service or the Eastland County Commissioner’s Court.
