On 08/13/2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Ranger Water System, PWS ID 0670004, to issue a Boil Water Notice to notify the affected customers in our system due to a water main break on S. Marston at Pine St. that occurred in the water system resulted in a loss of system water pressure and required that water must be boiled prior to consumption.

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of 08/13/2022.
