Cisco Writers Club’s 48th Annual Summer Writing Contest opens June 1 and continues until midnight, July 31.
With six categories, low entry fees, and awards and special prizes totaling approximately $1,500, this contest is our service to our community. We want to encourage more — and better — writing.
This year’s theme: The power of story.
Entering is easy. Once your entry is polished and ready (be sure to consult the rules), look for the “Click Here to Submit” button on the Contest page of our website, ciscowritersclub.org.
That links to an associated website where you can select your category, add your personal information, and upload your document. Enter each item individually, but enter as many as you wish.
Awards will be announced at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center, 1498 West I 20, Cisco TX. All are welcome to attend this exciting ceremony.
