Cisco Writers Club’s 47th Annual Summer Contest is now accepting entries, with $1,500 and bragging rights up for grabs. This could be a key component to advancing your writing career, as it has been for others.
The contest is open June 1 to July 31 at midnight. Another key date is Thursday, September 7, 2023, when winners will be announced in a special ceremony at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center, 1498 West I 20 in Cisco.
There are six categories, including one for young writers under sixteen. Submit poems, stories, books, etc., using the link on our ciscowritersclub.org/contest page. Key on the orange “Click Here to Submit” button below the rules.
Speaking of rules, following them closely is key, as your manuscript must meet certain specifications.
In addition to online submission, entries can be mailed, emailed, or hand delivered. Fees are extremely reasonable at just $5 each.
