It is with great sadness that we tell of the passing of our son and brother Benjamin Brooks Weekes. Most people knew him as Ben.

Ben passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He had resided in Ranger after being discharged from the United States Army.

Ben was born in Hobbs, New Mexico October 27, 1966 to Stanley David Weekes and Glenda June (Champlin) Weekes.

He is survived by his mother, Glenda; brother, Kevin; and sister, Amy. Also his nephew, Jacob; nieces, Molly Caroline, and Callie. He was very proud of these nieces and nephew and considered them the kids and grandkids he never had.

A formal funeral is not forth coming. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the BackPack Program or to the Ranger Vietnam Memorial, P.O. Box 251 Ranger, TX 76470.
