Freddie Ray Bell, a cherished father and friend, peacefully departed this life on March 11, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas. Born on June 26, 1955, in Ft. Worth to Jimmie Bell and Pauline Busby Bell, Freddie was a dedicated roughneck whose hard work in the oil field exemplified his steadfast character and strong work ethic.
Freddie had a profound appreciation for the great outdoors. He spent many joyful hours hunting, fishing, and soaking in the beauty of nature, which brought him immense happiness and connection to the world around him.
He is survived by his beloved son, Derek Bell, and daughter-in-law, Carina Bell, who will forever cherish his memory and the values he instilled in them.
The visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home, Eastland Texas on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m. Graveside services will be held in his honor at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11 a.m., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather as they pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.
