Clyde Earl Royer, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in Mineral Wells, TX, on January 21, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Mineral Wells, TX on September 1, 1954 to William Royer and Dorothy (Smith) Royer, Clyde lived a life filled with hard work, joy, and love.

Clyde spent his career working tirelessly in the brick yards in Bridgeport and Mineral Wells, as well as in the oil fields, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Beyond his professional life, he had a deep passion for music, often found strumming his guitar and sharing tunes with family and friends. He was also an avid reader, especially when it came to the Bible, which he cherished deeply. Clyde loved nothing more than spending time outdoors, whether camping under the stars or casting a line while fishing.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Royer; brothers, Cecil Royer, Tony Stewart, and Tommy Stewart; and sister, Shirley Royer. Grandsons Micheal Earl and Walter Royer.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy Royer, who will forever hold a special place in her heart for the wonderful memories they created together. He is also survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Royer (Sunnie), and Aaron Royer (Chelsey); 2 daughters, Margaret Evans (Tony) and Amanda Royer; 2 brothers, Doug Royer, and Charles Royer; sister, Mary Lard; grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren 7

Graveside services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home and will be held to celebrate Clyde’s life at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mt. Marion Cemetery in Strawn. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man who brought joy, love, and laughter to their lives.

Rest in peace, Clyde. You will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
