It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Bearden, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. On June 2, 2024, after a brave battle with lung cancer, Larry, aged 66, left us. He was born on October 5, 1957, in Ranger Texas to Jack and Peggy Bearden. We will come together to celebrate his life at The Woodbridge Church (Graham Building) in Ranger Texas on June 22, 2024, at 1:00pm.
Throughout his life, Larry was known for his many roles – from a “golden glove” boxer, rodeo clown, bull rider, to a welder, drummer in a band, and even as the president of a motorcycle club. However, more than these titles, Larry will be remembered for his genuine love for his family and friends.
Larry leaves behind his wife Paige Bearden of 34 years, his son Trinity Bearden of Wingate TX, daughter Kelly Kitchens, and his cherished granddaughter Kelby Kitchens of Abilene TX. He is also survived by his sister Tracy and her husband James Casey of New London TX, his brother Mark and his wife Shelia Bearden of Ranger TX, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. He is now reunited with his parents Jack and Peggy Bearden, his sister Debbie Bearden-Vinson, and grandparents in eternal peace.
The Bible tells us that God will comfort those who grieve, as “the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) It is natural to mourn the loss of a loved one with death being an unfortunate part of our fallen world. Let us remember it is Jesus Christ that gives us eternal life to those who believe in Him. May the memories of Larry’s love and warmth continue to live on in our hearts.
