EASTLAND – Linda Gail (Vandiver) May, 82 of Eastland, passed away Saturday March 9, 2024 in Eastland.

Linda was born August 1, 1941 in Boughton, Arkansas to Herman Carol Vandiver and Ada Mae (Johnson) Vandiver.  After high school she graduated from beautician school.  She married Jewel Denman May on October 29, 1961 in Prescott, Arkansas. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri May, and brother, Sam Carol Vandiver.

Survivors include her husband, Jewel Denman May; a daughter, Kristi Tibbets; 2 brothers, Ronnie Vandiver, and Duane Vandiver; and 2 grandchildren, Jayden Tibbets and Kayleigh Tibbets.
