Lucas Shane Seymour left this world far too soon on Sunday, July 16th, 2023.
He was born in Eastland, Texas on September 5th, 1979. He was raised most of his life in Ranger and Gordon. He graduated from Gordon High School in 1998. He attended and graduated from Welding School, where he perfected his art as a talented welder.
March 29, 2006, he married the love of his life, Crystal Brockette. They brought two wonderful children into this world that was the absolute light of his life, Corvin and Jaylin.
Luke’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, teaching all “his” kids because they were all his how to hunt and fish, being ornery, and making people laugh. His newest saying was, “Love the ones who let you and to hell with the rest,” and he was the one who loved with all of his heart.
Luke is survived by: his wife, Crystal; son, Corvin; daughter, Jaylin; special chosen parents, Joe, and Lisa Brooks; father, Kenneth Seymour and wife, Billie Sue, grandfather, Kenneth Clifton, sisters and brothers: Michelle Nolte, husband Josh; Monica Stanley, husband Kelly; Lisa Seymour; Kenny Seymour, Jr., wife Tracy; Kristen Sohm, husband Junior; Keya Whitlock, husband Eric; David Cherry, wife Kim; Stacy Brockette., nieces and nephews: John Cherry, wife Kimberly; Michael Cherry, wife Kaylee; Brittany Cherry; Deuce Nolte; Kolten Stanley; Josh Seymour; Rileigh Whitlock; Merrick Whitlock; Kullen Whitlock; Hadley Whitlock; Emily Swerdlow, husband Will; DeeDee Brockette., great nieces and nephews: Faith, Lylee, Rayni, Grayson, Elizabeth, Adalee, Otto, and an abundance of family and friends that he loved and who will forever feel his absence.
Luke was preceded in death by five unborn Seymour babies; his mother, Joye Ann Seymour; Grandmothers: Fay Clifton, Glenna Clifton & Dorothy Carr; in-laws, Scotty Brockette and wife, Iva Jane; Aunt, Dee Caylor; Nephews: D’Ray Seymour and Kace Cherry; and Robert “PaPa” Cherry.
