The Cisco Police Department released the following information on social media:

On December 12, 2022 Cisco Police Officer Vegas Hastings and Sgt. Derek Gunstanson were called to investigate Burglary of Motor Vehicles that had just occurred. After a brief period of time, two suspects were arrested and charged with burglary of a vehicle x 2. Because of prior convictions these offenses are now classified as felonies. Arrested were Kara Odom, 31 of Cisco and Samantha Paige McMorris, 27 of Rising Star. Both were housed in Eastland County Jail.
