Awards in the Cisco Writers Club’s 46th Annual Summer Writing Contest will be announced at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center, 1498 West I 20, Cisco TX. All are welcome to attend this exciting ceremony.

This annual event opened June 1 and closed at midnight, July 31. With six categories, low entry fees, and awards and special prizes totaling approximately $1,500, this contest is a service to our community. We want to encourage more — and better — writing. Thus, this year’s theme: Words matter.

We thank all who entered as well as our excellent panel of judges. With their decisions in hand, we are eager to announce the results this Thursday evening. Please join us!
