Everyone Welcome to the Rising Star Freedom Festival, July 2, 2022
The Parade will start at 10:00 am, starting at The Rising Star Nursing Center. Line up will be on North Miller and West Smith.
Parade route – from Nursing Home south to West Mayfield to US Hwy 183 to four-way stop, then West on Hwy 36 to City Park.
Open Air Market in our downtown area will begin at 8:00 am. Local businesses will be open along with several vendors and games. Cornhole Tournament registration will be at 10:00 am and will start at 12:00 pm.
City Wide Garage Sales will be June 30, July 1 and July 2. Maps will be available at local businesses.
Barbecue Cook-Off will be at City Park with judging starting at 12:00 pm.
Live music will start at 5:00 pm.
At this time, we are unsure if we will be having a firework show. We will update as we hear.
More activities will be added, so bring your family and friends for a fun-filled day in Rising Star, Texas.
