The Bankhead Community Theatre presents THE 39 STEPS at the Lyric Arts Center in Eastland on November 17, 18 & 19.
THE 39 STEPS is a fast-paced play that features over 150 characters played by only five actors! The comedic timing of this zany British farse is sure to have you in stitches before the end of Act 1 and falling in love by the time the final curtain drops.

Then, add the manic dash of vintage Monty Python and you have THE 39 STEPS – equal parts hilarious whodunit, espionage thriller and quick-change comedy, adapted for the stage from Hitchcock’s famous 1935 film and John Buchan’s 1915 novel.
Seeking a frivolous night out at the theatre, Richard Hannay is lured into a world of intrigue by a mysterious woman claiming to be a spy. When she winds up dead in his flat, he flees London with the police hot on his trail.”
Bankhead Community Theatre’s opening night of Alfred Hitchcock’s THE 39 STEPS is on Friday, November 17th with the box office opening at 6:30 PM and curtains at 7:30 PM. The show will continue through the weekend with a showing on Saturday, Nov. 18th at 7:30 PM and a matinee at 2:30 PM on Sunday, Nov. 19th. Tickets $15 at the door.
