Patricia Joan Murphy of Cisco

Patricia Joan Murphy 56, of Cisco passed from this life Saturday February 20, 2010 at Eastland Memorial Hospital. She will be cremated. Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Riverside, California on March 19, 1953 to Donald Frederick and Rita (O’Connell) Smith. She graduated from Northwest High School in Rives Junction, Michigan.

She was a gifted seamstress. Her son had a theater in Chicago, and she spent many hours making costumes. Knitting was another hobby which she enjoyed. For five years she drove a school bus. Patricia moved to Texas in 2000 and married Pat Murphy September 9, 2004. She was a loving and caring wife and mother and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Pat, of Cisco; sons, Curtis Omana and Anthony Adams of Chicago; daughter, Kristy Adams Johnson, of Constantine, Michigan; mother, Rita Smith of Pleasant Lake, Michigan; sisters, Donna Joslin, Carroll Smith, Sharon Roberts and Kathy Bourgeious. A brother, Kevin Smith, preceded her in death.
