Pamela Tomsky of Carbon

Pam Tomsky, age 55, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Summers-Bakker Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland.

Pamela Faye Cowsert was born on March 13, 1954 in Kenton, Tennessee to Thomas Herschel and Cardelius (White) Cowsert. She graduated from Carl Schultz High School in Illinois. Pam married Thomas Tomsky, Sr. on March 18, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. They were blessed with three children. The family moved to Carbon in 1991. Pam was a homemaker. She loved to talk with her friends on the computer, travel and make dolls.

She is survived by her husband of over thirty seven years, Thomas; her two daughters, Krystal Jackson and her husband Perry of Georgia and Amber Dawn Tomsky of Carbon; her son, Thomas Tomsky, Jr. of Eastland; her brother, Jeff Cowsert and his wife Patty of Illinois; one grandson, Keaton Riley Jackson of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pam’s name may be made to the children’s charity of your choice.
