Verbie Pauline Welch, 94, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at the Eastland Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home in Gorman.
