Eugene Childers – Cisco

Eugene Childers, 90 of Cisco passed away at Homestead Nursing Center in Cisco on Wednesday September 23, 2009.  Masonic graveside  services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Mr. Childers was born in Lott , Texas on April 15, 1919 to William Ernest and Birdie Jewel Childers.  He was preceded in death by his wife Stella Shacklett.  Before retiring he worked for Lennox Air as an assembler.  He was a member of East Cisco Baptist Church

He is survived by, Step-daughters:   Virginia Wheatley of Cleburne and  Leila Moore; grandchildren,     Mitchell Bowers and Vikki Millsap, all of Cleburne .

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
