Howard Gene Hicks, 77, of Rising Star, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, in Temple. Service were held Sunday at Higginbotham Chapel in Cross Plains with Dick Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Board Church Cemetery in Comanche County.
